(México DF, 1969) Bachelors degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the Iberoamericana University, obtaining the recognition of the College of Architects of Mexico City for academic excellence. Obtained from the Iberoamericana University the Future Technoconstructions Diploma. Studied Graphic and Fashion Design in Florence, Italy.
Winner of the third place in the International Contest of a Urban Park by the Castle of Prague in the Czeck Republic (Project done in association with Armando Oliver Suinaga). Winner of a CONACYT scholarship. Recongition ot the Government of Mexico City through the General Management of Civil Protection for the Temporary Shelters for victims of Natural Disasters Project.
As a teacher at the Iberoamericana University, has given classes on subjects such as Development of Projects V and VI and Auxiliary Computer Technics. Lecturer on seminars and conferences at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional in Mexico City. Has also taught architecture design at the Anáhuac del Sur University and at the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey campus Mexico City.
Invited as a lecturer, spoke about her temporary shelters project in the special event dedicated to México´s 1985 earthquake called A Diez Años del Temblor de la Ciudad de México.
Several of her projects have been published on renowned books such as The Phaidon, the Atlas of Contemporary World Architecture, Modern House III, Séptima Reseña de Arquitectura Mexicana, 1000 American Architects; and in magazines such as The Architectural Review, Arquine, and Enlace among others. She has also participated on several international exhibitions at the Ala Teresiana del Castillo de Praga and some in Mexico at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, at the Museo de Arte Moderno de la Ciudad de México, and at the Expo Chiac.
In 1994, as an independent architect, worked on projects to create commercial sites for a food chain: Ensadeli.
In 1995, in association with the architects Mauricio Abdel and Armando Oliver, designed projects for Lux Royal.
From 1996 to 1997 worked in Mexico for the Architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez on several projects like the Acapulco Cathedral and the Neurology Center´s Master Plan.
From 1997 to 1998, in association with Armando Oliver Suinaga, founded paar (paisaje + arquitectura), a firm that completed several projects for schools, airlines and mainly residential houses.
From 1999 to 2001, developed indepent proyects like Casa Pedernal.
In 2006 founded ReCURSO studio with the architect Paul Cremoux. A firm focused on providing high quality architectural design through academic exercise, analysis and advice on real-estate development. Worked on sustainable and ecofriendly projects such as Casa Santamarina, Casa San Angel, El Huacal, Interiores Portofino and the participation on several international contests.
In 2009 founded, on her own, studio a plus. An architectural firm where the relation between the process and the end result constitutes a parameter for the implementation of ideas.
