The project is built on a very narrow and elongated plot. Its black stone façade, simple and formal, stands out among the diverse urban context that conforms the area though it merges gracefully.
The morphology of the site gives the first priority of the project’s criteria: ventilation and illumination. The new volume of three and a half stories is situated on the north side where the service areas are found. Living spaces are located towards the south façade overlooking an open space that ends in a green vertical wall that is the fundamental element of the project.
Cars are parked in the level underneath the access. The building has 9 apartments; each one has its own green area, either a floor garden or a roof garden. The access to each unit is through two main stairways, designed on the same perimeter line of the main access and the green wall. Green technology systems are being proposed as an essential part of the project.
