The project’s main idea is to generate a totally new image regarding the aesthetic solution of the space to be intervened. The concept sets out to create continuous spaces with selective materials which define each of the three areas of the apartment. The public zone in a white reflecting material, the private area in opaque wood and the service areas in granulated gray.
The spatial continuity will be what determines the design of the spaces integrating the functions of each place while generating a material continuity amid floors, walls and ceilings and containing each space as part of a whole where isolated pieces will be placed as specific furnishings for each place.
The final project is presented as the result of the modulation and application of the materials to each specific area so as to maintain a continuity of planes by integrating the water mirror and the crystal clear shelves in the living areas or by making the closets of the private areas turn into the final panel enveloping the same space.
